Arabian Travel Market 2025 Opens in Dubai with Record-Breaking Participation

Dubai: The 32nd edition of the Arabian Travel Market 2025, the annual travel and tourism trade show, commenced at Dubai World Trade Centre on April 28. ATM 2025 is set to achieve a significant milestone in the global tourism industry, as it will welcome over 55,000 visitors, including 2,800 exhibitors from 166 nations. 

Organized under the theme “Global Travel: Developing Tomorrow’s Tourism Through Enhanced Connectivity,” this celebrated exhibition was formally inaugurated by Dubai Civil Aviation Authority’s President, Dubai Airports’ Chairman, and Emirates Airline & Group’s Chairman and Chief Executive, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum. 

Talking about the theme of the ATM Travel Market 2025, the organizers said that this year’s theme highlights the importance of connectivity spanning across borders, communities, and industries. 67% of international companies and 33% of Middle East companies will exhibit their innovations this year.

Events to Watch at Arabian Travel Market 2025

Danielle Curtis, Arabian Travel Market Middle East Exhibition Director, said that the 32nd edition of ATM is all set to break previous records regarding visitors’ attendance and exhibitors’ participation. She added that they added two additional halls for ATM 2025 to fulfil the increasing interest in this prestigious event among participants. Further, she said that the ATM 2025 Conference programme will be delivered across three interactive content stages: the Global, Future, and Business Event

She added that she is more excited about the IBTM@ATM, a dedicated business and ATM Travel Tech zone, which focuses on highlighting transformative technological innovations that can significantly shape the industry’s future. ATM Travel Tech 2025 is bigger than it has ever been, as there is over a 23% increase in products that will be displayed in this exhibition. The ATM Travel Tech segment exhibition will allow visitors to witness the future-proof tech innovations in the travel and hospitality sectors.

Highlights of Arabian Travel Market 2025 include:

1. AI Expert Session: Visitors can attend AI in business discussion sessions with Cassie Kozyroc at the Future Stage segment. Google’s former Chief Decision Scientist will speak about issues and plans for implementing AI in business.

2. Travel Tech & Startups: A new Start-Up and Innovation Zone will feature 21 innovative startup ideas and immersive VR experiences, allowing visitors to get a glimpse of the future of the travel industry. 

3. Focus on Business Events: The newly added platform, IBTM@ATM in Arabian Travel Market 2025, will connect buyers and suppliers to networking opportunities and provide a stage for expert meetings, conferences, and exhibitions in the business sector. 

4. Extensive Conference Program: ATM 2025 will allow participants and visitors to attend speaking sessions by over 200 experts across three stages.

Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, at the inauguration of ATM 2025, focused on Dubai’s improving reputation as a global travel, hospitality, and tourism hub. He said, under the guidance of our visionary leader, the emirate is consistently solidifying its reputation as a key destination for global travelers and industry stakeholders. He added that the historic success of ATM showcases Dubai’s significant role in encouraging strategic partnerships that stimulate global tourism industry growth and advancement. 

Further, he said that the emirate’s booming events and exhibition sector plays a vital role in the economic growth, and is aligned with Dubai Economic Agenda D33 goal, which is to position Dubai among the top three destinations for business and specialized tourism in the world by 2033. 

After the inauguration ceremony, Sheikh Ahmed bin visited the exhibition halls and met with exhibitors. With the commencement of Arabian Travel Market 2025, the international travel sector views Dubai not just as a host city, but as a model of how improved connectivity, technological innovation, and collaboration can reshape the global tourism future.
