Global Village Closes Season With A Record-Breaking 7.8 Million Visitors 

The tourist appeal has welcomed a record-breaking 7.8 million guests since its inception on October 26, 2021.

As the United Arab Emirates become a very demanding location with millions of tourists visiting Expo 2020 Dubai, Global Village brought together the curious line-up of shows, festivals, events, and live concerts.

Longest Season Ever 

Because of the famous requirement, the park expanded season 26, permitting guests to experience the Eid Al Fitr celebration for the first time in its history. The Village was available for 194 days, a four-day increase over its last record, making it the vastest season ever.

Bader Anwahi, Chief Executive Officer at Global Village, stated – “Global Village has been a remarkable cultural spot for guests from around the work for over two decades; we are proud to support forming the Dubai emirate as an international center for tourism and entertainment.

We also desire to support the economy by supporting local business people and alluring global businesses to the Dubai emirate. This year, 60% of our members were unknown to Global Village, which maintains our offering renewed and our guests arriving back again and again”. 

Digital Transformations 

Aligning with the Global Village’s commitment to cashless payment, over 945 media carried card payments this season. Guests welcomed the counted amenity with contactless payments seeing a rise of 300% in season 26.

Global Village also witnessed a spectacular 700% rise in online ticket sales, with its user-friendly mobile app and website giving a leader guest experience. The park presented new facilities in its user-friendly mobile application to assist guests to beat the queues, experiencing comprehensive offers, and getting the most out of their experience.

Extensive Offerings for all Audiences 

Guests at Global Village can let their taste buds travel the world at more than 200 F&B outlets and a new Railway Market encouraged by Thailand’s world popular Umbrella Market with 14 train carriages hosting more than 30 sellers from Asia and throughout the globe.

Dragon Lake was the beautiful backdrop for the famous floating market which overlooked a 20-meter-long fire-breathing dragon.

New family members, The Wanderers, took to the stage for the first time. Waleef, Ozka, Zoya, and Aiyah starred in their own event, Legend of the staff. The kid theatre rocked with characters’ performances and the Main Stage was home to more than 10 new Global Village productions. The park also hosted popular global shows Burn the floor, Swing Latino, and Aainja.

The Global Village event series returned in Season 26 with a multifarious line-up of breathtaking live events by international artists comprising Assala Nasri, British chart-topper Anne Marie, Saad Lamjarred, and Tamer Hosni.

The region’s first water-based stunt show, Harbour Force, wowed crowds with a 75 feet high dive tower, jet-ski fire-jump, double fly-board action stunts, and record-breaking LED cars. Thrill hunters also experienced more than 170 electrifying rides, games, and appeals at Carnaval, which also brought a renewed new countenance this season.

Ripley’s Believe it or not! Presented 100 new exhibitions and a chamber of horror to the museum. The 4D Moving Theatre starring the monster family had everybody sitting on the corner of their seats whilst the Marvellous Mirror Maze facilitated more than 100 mirrors, LED lighting, and digital sound upgraded with tremendous water and Expanded reality factors.

A Season of Celebrations 

The Global Village welcomed a lot of guests over National Day weekend as the country celebrated its Golden Jubilee. The celebration restarted in December with celebratory mainstays, holiday shopping, and dines from throughout the globe. New Year’s Eve festivities resumed above midnight with musical fireworks and cultural interpretations aligning with the beginning of 2022 at 8 distinct spots throughout the world.

In February, the park array in the Chinese New Year with wishes for wealth and health for the years of the tiger. Festivals possess this season also comprise the now popular “Kids Fest” and the brand new “Happiness Street Fest”.

Season 26 was expanded to get the best conventions of Ramadan to Global Village with Majlis of the World giving a unique experience with an adorable environment for collecting with friends and families. With a specific line-up of events, concerts, and décor for Eid Al Fitr, this was the ideal spot to celebrate with friends and family.
