The world’s premier trade event, Gulfood Manufacturing, is all set to commence this week, starting on November 7, 2023, at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The FoodTech Summit is set to commence with a keynote address delivered by Tariq AlHashmi, the Director of Technology Adoption and Development at the UAE Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT). He will delve into the food industry’s pivotal role in the pursuit of global climate and sustainability objectives and underscore the significance of sustainable solutions in the evolving landscape of food and beverage manufacturing.

The inaugural day of Gulfood Manufacturing will mark the revelation of the victors of the Gulfood Manufacturing Industry Excellence Awards 2023. These awards are designed to acknowledge the most groundbreaking products and technologies that have made exceptional contributions to the industry in the past year. For the current edition, there were over 600 international submissions encompassing ten award categories. Notably, three new categories were introduced, aligning with the event’s pronounced focus on sustainability: the Renewable Energy Initiative, Plant-Based Manufacturing Company of the Year, and Sustainability Champion of the Year.
