The Jashanmal business association with the Middle East is older than a century. In 1919, Tony Jashanmal’s grandfather formed a general store in Basra, Iraq sold products comprising newspapers, stationery, books, and men’s clothing. The international extension started back in 1934 when his grandfather formed ship in Kuwait’s Safaat Square, later on in Dubai’s Al Nasr Square in 1956. Three generations in, that extension has not stopped.
Jashanmal is a family name and a trusted partner for global fashion, home appliances, footwear, travel gear, and publishing corporations looking to conduct business in the Gulf Cooperation Council nations.
Jashanmal who speaks seven languages and left a Ph.D. program mid-way through his father’s business in 1971, now acts as the recent group director of an immense retail and allotment kingdom.
