The name of the company is Ogram. The company provides staffing solutions.

A complete journey about the company? When you have started, how and where?

Our company is a part-time staffing platform that provides a solution to a common issue faced by organizations in the UAE and surrounding regions: finding quality, vetted staff on demand. This problem is something that my co-founder and I experienced firsthand while working in the hospitality industry. It was this experience that led us to create Ogram in mid-2016.

Ogram is powered by state-of-the-art technology, enabling clients and job seekers to have a seamless experience. With our innovative solution, job matching has become 160 times faster and 50% more reliable. This not only saves our clients enormous costs but also helps them navigate the fluctuating staffing needs that are characteristic of the UAE’s industries, where most sectors have cycles that lead to overheads piling up during slow months.

At present, we cater to the food and beverage, hospitality, retail, and logistics industries in the UAE. Our goal is to provide a quality, reliable staffing solution that enhances the workforce and supports organizations in their business operations.

The journey of founder and co-founders?

My journey as an entrepreneur began with the realization that I wasn’t living up to my full potential. I didn’t want to settle for a 9-5 job and instead wanted to create something that would make a positive impact on society. Starting a new venture always comes with risks, but I took the leap of faith and became a Co-Founder at Ogram, which marked the beginning of my career journey.

For those who are just starting, my advice is to have confidence and faith in yourself and the idea you want to pursue. It’s important to identify a real problem in the market and create a solution to fill that gap. If you’re starting a tech business, it’s crucial to onboard or partner with a CTO or Full Stack Developer from the very beginning. They can help you build a solid technical foundation and ensure that your product is scalable and efficient.

Taking the first step towards entrepreneurship can be daunting, but with determination, hard work, and a willingness to take risks, it is possible to build something great. So, trust yourself, identify a problem, create a solution, and work tirelessly towards making your vision a reality.

Our logistics business is set to expand through the provision of on-demand warehouse assistants to facilities while integrating with other software for customer acquisition and growth. In addition, we seek to enhance our ties with conventional manpower agencies.

Furthermore, our target is to extend our presence across the Middle East and Europe, and we are currently making preparations for our launch in Greece, which will be our entry point into Europe. We are also planning to establish operations in KSA in the not-too-distant future.
