Ironically, my educational journey didn’t wield the greatest influence over my career choices; it was my unwavering determination for success and the pursuit of something truly unique. It was during my A-level days that I first delved into Economics, a subject that opened up an entirely new perspective on the world of business. Rose Picicco found herself immersed in a world of laws, regulations, and intricate company structures that had previously eluded my awareness. This experience ignited a fire within me, solidifying my resolve and affirming the existence of promising opportunities on the horizon.

However, upon completing my A-levels, I charted a different path and pursued a degree in psychology at university. Rose Picicco’s passion took a turn toward understanding human nature and exploring the profound ways in which life experiences mold our identities. As my university year drew to a close, a unique opportunity beckoned, prompting me to make the life-changing move from London to Dubai. Regrettably, my father would be better suited to respond to this question, as I am still in the early stages of my career and have not yet reached any significant milestones. Nevertheless, I hold high hopes that in the near future, I will achieve noteworthy accomplishments. What I can express is my profound gratitude for being raised in the vibrant and fast-paced society of London. Growing up in this diverse city has been an invaluable lesson in cultural inclusivity, especially given my dual cultural heritage from Portugal and Italy.

Just a year ago, Rose Picicco journey had only just begun, and I was still a student, daydreaming about the role I find myself in today – launching and nurturing a business. However, during my time at university, I gradually realized that this path was not aligned with my aspirations. As of now, my most significant milestone is undoubtedly the progress I have made at such a young age. As our company recently extended its reach from London, our immediate focus is on solidifying a robust foundation. Take, for example, many European regions, such as Italy, where an exceptional standard of service is not just a practice but deeply embedded in the cultural tapestry. This dedication to service excellence is similarly evident in the UK.

However, in locations like Dubai and other parts of the Middle East, there’s an unmistakable disparity when it comes to the delivery of effective service. This stark contrast has motivated us to take action and embark on a mission to transplant the golden standard of service from Europe to the Middle East.
