RTA Announces Service Hours During Eid Al Fitr 2022 Holiday, Free Parking For 7 Days

Roads and Transport Authority of Dubai declared the business hours of all its services during the Eid Al Fitr festival, comprising client happiness hubs, paid parking zones, Dubai Metro and Tram, public buses, marine transit means, and services provider hubs.

Customer Happiness Center would be closed from Saturday 30 April to Sunday 8 May and would resume duty on Monday 9 May 2022. The Smart Customer Happiness Centers at Umm Ramool, Al Barsha, Deira, Al Manara, and RTA’s head office would function typically 24 hours a day. Service provider hubs would be shut from Saturday 30 April to Saturday 7 May, and continuous duty on Sunday 8 May 2022.

Dubai Metro Green and Red lines stations would conduct from Monday to Wednesday from 5:00 am to 1:00 am. Dubai Tram would function from Monday to Wednesday from 6:00 am to 1:00 am.

Public Buses would function during the Eid festival as follows –

  • Main Stations, comprising Gold Souq Station, from 5:00 am to 12:29 am, and Al-Ghubaiba Station from 4:14 am to 12:58 am.
  • Sub stations, comprising Satwa Station, would function from 4:57 am to 11:00 pm save for Route C01 which would be functioning around the clock. Al-Qusais Bus Station would function from 4:34 am to 12:04 am, Al Quoz Industrial Station from 5:05 am to 11:35 pm, and Jebel Ali Station from 4:58 to 11:17 pm. 

The timing of Metro Link Bus Services at Rashidiya, Mall of the Emirates, Ibn Battuta, Dubai Mall or Burj Khalifa, Abu Hail, and Etisalat is coordinated with the metro service timetables.

The Inter-city Bus and Commercial Coaches would be functioning as follows: Sub Stations, like Al Ghubaiba, From 6:40 to 10:20 pm, Union Square from 4:25 am to 12:00 am, Deira City Center from 6:40 am to 11:30 pm, Al Sabkha from 6:30 am to 10:30 pm, Etisalat Metro Station from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm, Abu Hail Metro Station from 6:30 am to 10:35 pm, Hatta Station from 5:30 am to 9:30 pm. External Stations: Jubail Station at Sharjah from 5:30 am to 11:15 pm, and Ajman from 4:30 am to 11:00 pm.

For Marine Transport means, The Water Bus would function at Dubai Marina Stations as follows –

  • Marina Mall – Marina Walk from 12:00 pm to 11:45 pm
  • Marina Promenade – Marina Mall & Marina Terrace – Marina Walk from 2:00 pm to 10:45 pm.
  • Marina Mall – Marina Bluewaters from 4:10 pm to 11:45 pm.

Abra – Dubai Old Souk – Baniyas, Al Fahidi – Al Sabkha, Al Fahidi – Deira Old Souk and Baniyas – Al Seef would run from 10:00 am to 1:00 am. Dubai Old Souk – Al Fahidi – Al Seef, Dubai Festival City – Dubai Creek Harbor, and tourist trips to Sheikh Zayed Road Station would run from 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Al Jaddaf – Dubai Festival City would run from 8:00 am to 1:00 am.

Water Taxi – run in on request from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Customers require to book in advance.

Dubai Ferry – Al Ghubaiba – Dubai Water Canal – Marina Mall would run from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Tourists from Al Seef would run from 4:30 om and tourist trips from Marina Mall would run from 11:00 am and 4:30 am.

Public Parking – Parking costs would be free of charge, initiating from 30 April till 6 May 2022. Parking costs would be reactivated from 7 May 2022.
